Pazerik Carpet

Brand Identity · Retail Advertising · Print & Marketing Collateral

Pazerik was a carpet retailer in Iran offering a range of carpets and custom products. For this project, I developed a collection of branding and promotional materials designed to give the business a consistent and recognisable presence across its customer-facing communications.

The project included logo design, business cards, retail stationery, catalogues and promotional brochures, creating a visual system that could work across different print formats while maintaining a clear connection to the character of the products.

Inspired by the Heritage of Carpet

The name Pazerik references Pazyryk, the archaeological site associated with the famous ancient Pazyryk carpet — one of the earliest surviving knotted pile carpets.

This historical connection provided an interesting cultural background for a contemporary carpet business. Rather than recreating traditional carpet ornament directly, the visual identity uses geometric forms, colour and pattern to suggest the richness, structure and decorative character associated with carpet design.

The colourful modular logo creates a distinctive focal point, while the wider graphic language uses softer shapes, transparency and layered colour to create contrast between a structured brand mark and more expressive supporting visuals.

Building a Consistent Retail Identity

The main challenge was not to design each promotional item independently, but to create a consistent visual identity that customers could recognise across different touchpoints.

The logo, typography, colour palette and supporting graphics were carried through the business card, stationery, catalogue and brochure design, helping create continuity between the brand and its sales materials.

For a retail business, this consistency is particularly important. Every printed item becomes part of the customer experience and brand communication, from the first introduction to browsing products and making a purchase.

Design Supporting Sales

The catalogues and brochures were designed not only as visual pieces but also as practical sales and marketing tools, helping the retailer present products, communicate its offering and support conversations with potential customers.

This project brought together brand identity, graphic design and retail marketing, demonstrating how a visual system can extend from a single logo into a complete collection of branded communication materials.
